My student teaching experience has been the best, most informational and inspiring experience in many years. Generally, I had a great time with my students, and I could not have asked for a better report with my cooperating teacher. I felt supported from day one, and he gave me the confidence I needed to keep progressing. Interacting with my students was fantastic, and I was very surprised at how much my students taught me, from everything to relationships to school practices.

This year I was fortunate to celebrate onam with my B.Ed trainees and teachers at college. Our onam celebration was on 06/09/2019 Friday. All students and teachers dressed up in traditional Kerala style. Celebration was marked by Pookalam competition ,oonjaal,musical chair , vadamvali , dance, onapattu and traditional onasadya. Happy to see that both teachers and students participated in every programs. College closed for 10 days of onam vacation. HAPPY ONAM..

MICROTEACHING DEMO

MICRO-TEACHING DEMO BY SECOND YEAR STUDENTS

 Micro teaching  a teaching technique especially used in teachers' pre-service education to train them systematically by allowing them to experiment main teacher behaviors. 

 After teachers day celebrations afternoon section second year students conducted a micro teaching section to first year students. It was helpful and beneficial for us to know more about micro teaching and the skills of micro teaching.

HAPPY TEACHERS DAY😊

It rightly said that Teaching is not a service, profession or a job. It is a pillar of the society.

                    Teachers' Day is a great occasion for celebrating and enjoying the relationship between teachers and students. Dr. Radhakrishnan became President of India in 1962. He was approached by some of his friends and students who requested him to allow them to celebrate his birthday on 5 September. Dr. S. Radhakrishnan responded, "Instead of observing my birthday discretely, it would be my pompous privilege if 5th September is scrutinised as Teachers' Day". Such a request coming from President of India clearly showcased Dr. S. Radhakrishnan's affection and dedication for teachers. From then onwards, India celebrates Teachers' Day on 5th September. This is why teachers day is celebrated. 

                      Teachers’ Day is one such event for which students and teachers equally look forward to. Teachers' Day is important for the students as it gives them a chance to understand the efforts put in by their teachers to ensure that they get proper education. Similarly, teachers also look forward to Teachers’ Day celebration as their efforts get recognised and honoured by students and other agencies as well.

                       On this Teachers' Day, students holded  different activities to entertain teachers in our college. Meeting started with prayer and all the teachers welcomed with roses . Then the welcome speech by our union chairman Rev. Fr Mathew Baby , Presidential Address by our respected Principal .Then our  college Local Manager Rev. Zacharia Ramban gave a message and Honoured our chief guest  George sir ( former Principal of our college ).After that the chief guest and all the teaching staff lighted the lamp and a cake cutting ceremony were happen.There after a candle light ceremony ,Kumari. Shani from first year recited a  poem for teachers , Mrs. Sooryagayathri from first year shared experience on her best teacher ever and the meeting was dispersed @ about 12.30 pm. We offered gifts and thanked our teachers by expressing our gratitude. 

INDEPENDENCE DAY 2019

INDEPENDENCE DAY

August 15 ,2019 . Our 73rd Independence Day. This is a happy and emotional day for all children of Mother India, whether living at home or abroad. We remember with gratitude the countless freedom fighters and revolutionaries who struggled, striven and made heroic sacrifices to win us our freedom from colonial rule.

Independence day celebrations of our college started with flag hosting by our respected Principal Roy sir . After that a meeting was conducted and was initiated by the Department of Social Science. Our Principal gave a message on the importance of Independence day celebration . An essay writing competition ( Topic: Involvement of Indian National Association during Indian Independence) and a quiz competition based on Indian Independence was held . A silent skit on “Unity in diversity” was also presented by the students of Dept. of Mathematics.

Blog Creation - ICT WORKSHOP

An educational blog was created as the part of curriculum of B.Ed on 03 September 2019. Blog account was created to all first year students with the initiative of first year M.Ed students of our college under the supervision of Dr. Deepu P R (assistant Professor of Psychology) @ college seminar hall .All the fifty students were grouped into 5. Each team is provided with an M.Ed student as a guide. Ms. Ann was the guide of my team including 9 members. I created a blog account with name ‘ JUST A SIDEWALK ‘ .

                  It was A Very Bright Sunny Day. The Day Was 1st Of July 2019.The Very First Day of My College...As Any Other Newbie I Was Super Excited About My First Day Of The College. I Was Feeling Nervous, Happy And Elicited At The Same Time. That Strange Feeling We All Go Through But Can’t Explain Exactly... I Reached My College with my Dad. It was my dads wish to make me a teacher . There were lots of students with their parents as well. I went to the main hall and sat on the fourth Bench. There were few other people sitting there as well. It was A really very awkward feeling sitting there no knowing anyone. There was still time for the inauguration to start So I was sitting idle looking here and there. Then a girl came and sat near me and we started talking. She was in the same department of mine.. Natural science..

                 Then I saw a girl from a distance.. ..Yes that was my childhood friend ..I waved at her . She came and sat with me.Then the inauguration ceremony started in the presence of College Local Manager, Principal , Head of M.Ed department and the teaching and non-teaching staff. The introduction and the stuff happened . Everyone explained the Divinity of profession ,who is a good teacher , B.Ed as a professional course, .. ..It takes almost one hour. Then went to the classroom as per the instruction of the Principal. There me and my friend sat on the Second last bench.Then Came Our Teacher And Then Normal Introduction And Stuff Happened. It Took Almost 40 Min.Everyone Tried To Pose A Good Impression Of Themselves. This Way Our First Class Ended And Rest Of The Day Passed Away In Different Activities Welcoming And All.

Soo..This Was The First Day Of My College. Sweet and Happy Cute and Fine..
